NAOMI NOYAU

The ability to imitate fabric-like qualities into silverware, has been an essential advancement allowing fluid translation of my designs into final pieces. Drapery folds and liquid movements in metal creating free flowing objects and tableware. With a background of textiles and wanting to bring a parallel and tactile element to the silver. Giving elegance and a softness to the metal.

Working and adapting tools in order to refine new techniques and making processes of morphing the metal. Finding it essential to keep a softness and elegance to the appearance of the silver. Allowing forms to move freely giving outlines to the objects as key translation of draped material.
